PRODUCT ORIGIN:

They grow aromatic plants with unique flavours under the Provence sun. These plants are rich in essential oil, giving them authentic taste and aromas.

PRODUCT FEATURES:

Organic oregano (Origanum vulgare)

Organic oregano is a perennial low-growing shrub. It is a highly branched plant with stems reaching from 50 cm up to 1 m high, covered with silky hairs giving them a fluffy appearance. The dark green, oval or elliptical, pointed leaves are covered with hairs secreting essence on their underside, giving off a characteristic scent at the slightest touch.

PERFECT MATCH:

Aromatic and delicately perfumed, this small Mediterranean plant will go perfectly with pizzas! It is the aromatic plant associated with the famous recipe, but not the only one.

OTHER IDEAS FOR USE:

Use with fish, such as tuna with plum tomatoes, anchovies and oregano. Ideal for flavouring tomato-based sauces, grilled fish, etc.
Oregano goes perfectly with all your aubergine recipes, grilled vegetables, etc.

PROCESSING:

Each plant batch making up the mix is first dried at the producer’s premises, then sent to the cooperative and cleaned in 2 or 3 steps using a sorter-separator to achieve the desired quality. They are processed and prepared in Trets at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain. All processing methods are approved and overseen by the certifying body, which guarantees a production and processing procedure complying with organic farming standards.
